ABOUT MY ART
...........................................
I suppose I began Drawing when I was quite young. I enjoyed it in
grammar school, and in high school. I majored in both Illustration
and Graphic Design at Montclair University, and minored in Art History.
I taught grammar school art for 2 short years before I was swept
away into the world of computer programming. I don't make much art
anymore, to the disappointment of my girlfriend, and other friends.
I have selected a few pieces to show you. Many of my original art
is lost, or given away. I hope you enjoy what remains.

MEDIA:
...........................................
I experimented as a student in many mediums. I eventually (Somewhere
in my undergraduate studies at Montclair University) decided I was
very comfortable with oil based colored pencils. Once I began using
them they just seemed a natural fit with my personality and drawing
style.

COMPUTER CREATIONS
...........................................
These are mostly just photographs that have been altered or
combined with other photographs using Adobe Photoshop. I am
a novice in the area of Adobe Photoshop. I studied it at a local
community college (SCCC) for a brief time. I Love to fool with
it at home though.

FREQUENTLY USED EQUIPMENT
...........................................
Most of my more recent work is made with Berol Prismacolor
Oil Based Colored Pencils. Prior to that I worked with Oil
Pastels, guash, India Ink, Scratchboard, and a little airbrushing.
My Computer graphics (If they can even be classified as such)
are done using mostly Adobe Photoshop, or Macromedia Fireworks
on my home PC. My Current home PC is pitiful for such efforts.
I use a hand built PC designed around a single Intel Pentium
233, using a mere 64 Megabytes of Kingston memory. The operating
system runs off a Barracuda 10,000 RPS SCSSI Drive, while
data is stored on a separate IDE drive. I also use a UMAXflatbed
scanner which I'm quite happy about. Actually, my computer
hardware may just be evenly matched with my computer graphic
skills. :)
